Chamber Choir of Óbuda

The Chamber Choir of Óbuda was formed in 1986, their leader is Ákos Erdős. Since then, they have won nearly 40 awards on international contests and festivals. Besides, they have taken part in several other prestigious productions such as the TV documentary called “Roots” about the life of Béla Bartók, and church music concerts as a partner of the Budapest Festival Orchestra, also Oratory and opera performances at Müpa Budapest produced by the Budapest Chamber Opera. The repertoire of the choir includes all ages of musical history from early renaissance to contemporary music.
